currently reading 'Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.' by Sam Wasson. i'm really enjoying the new perspective on one of my favorite movies and my all-time favorite actress. npr has an excerpt available here. it's intriguing to read about how unsure audrey was of herself and how she surrounded herself with people who could encourage her to do her best. she had a close friendship with givenchy (the designer of many of her outfits in movies but most notably the LBD from breakfast at tiffany's).
most people have seen photos from breakfast at tiffany's. so, here are some photos from another movie audrey was in- funny face. i haven't read much about funny face but i feel like audrey was more at home with this movie since she danced. below is a gap commercial featuring her dancing from funny face.
