francisco!
meet francisco. he's my new toy. i'm quite happy with him. we were made for each other. well, technically, he was made to my order specifications. but made for each other is way more romantic sounding. it's been a long time coming. placed my order in july and finally picked it up this weekend. the neon didn't go down without a fight. this past week it decided it needed to squeeze almost $200 out of me before picking up francisco.
it's been a blessed few months since i made the move to kansas city. so many things have come into my life and made me happier than i've been in a very, very long time. thank you to all of my friends and family for the tremendous support throughout this crazy year. you all mean the world to me.

how does your technology usage measure up? i agree with some of the statistics. i haven't used twitter as a learning tool in a classroom (aside from social media strategies) and know better than to contact a professor via facebook about classroom work. wonder if these statistics included campuses like northwest where students are provided laptops...

little peanut came back to my house with me for the week! he slept in my lap in the car all the way home and is already tuckered out in a nest here at the house. hopefully he's less fearful of his new environment tomorrow. for now, he's content chillin on the couch.
