Speaking about raptors...I'm excited to have been invited to the Celebrating 35 Years of Raptor Recovery event in Omaha on May 13th. It shall be one of the greatest geek out moments of my life. These folks are from the Raptor Recovery Nebraska in Eagle, NE. If I weren't such a nerd about design and user experience, this is what I would have focused on. Definitely hope to visit the center sometime after graduation.

life at the moment is overwhelming, at times. just got a great piece of advice from my yoda:

"overwhelming is ok. but don't get overwhelmed." 

total yoda. definitely appreciate everything he tells me. there's a lot of things that allow for life to get overwhelming but it's how we choose to respond. i'm choosing not become overwhelmed. thanks, JAK.
